Remove superfluous nose hair tips
When men reach the age of 30 the odd strands of nasal hair often start protruding from the nose. Whilst this hair growth is totally common, left unrestrained it can definitely get out of hand.

The bad news is that once nose hair starts to become obvious more nasal hair will start to emerge as you get older.

Nasal hair performs an important function and therefore should not be removed completely. Nose hair acts as a filter to put a stop to dirt and germs from entering the nose. However if nasal hairs are starting to grow out of control a simple trim is usually all that is needed.

Contrary to the myth the trimming of surplus nose hair will not make them grow back thicker or faster. So feel free to trim any nose hair that has grown out of control.

The word "Trimming" is key to the grooming of nasal hairs. You should never pluck nose hairs either by hand or with tweezers. Not only is it painful, but it can also cause infections.

The aim is not to totally remove all nasal hair as some nasal hair is required to protect your nasal passage and keep it clean.

Only those unattractive nose hairs protruding from the nose should be removed and this is best done with a suitable electric or battery nose hair trimmer. There are a many nasal hair trimmers on the market explicitly designed for the purpose of trimming nasal hair quickly, safely and painlessly.

There are two main types of nose hair trimmers. Both use a spinning blade to cut the nasal hair. The first type uses a blade which spins in just one direction and the other type uses a blade which continually changes direction from left to right. Whilst both will do the similar job in removing nose hair, some believe that the second type is less distressing.

Remember the aim is not to get rid of all nose hairs, just trim the unsightly ones. Nasal hair trimming only takes a few seconds and should be performed as part of a regular grooming routine.
